23/09/14:

We started our blog about our documentary. At the moment we have just had lesson on the background research about documentary styles. This helps obviously gain knowledge and give inspiration for the documentary we would like to create.

25/09/14:

We discussed ideas for our documentary. We went from 10 to 4 to now finally having one. The twist on our idea is that we are not going to have a question that most other documentaries may have. We, simply will have a title, by doing this it will give us a wider variety of things we can discuss in our documentary. I feel confident about the idea as we are discussing body confidence and I think a lot of people have different opinions on body confidence.

26/09/14:

I decided to do some individual primary research linking our idea about body shapes and fashion together , I thought a simple observation exercise would not only give me knowledge on how fashion effects body types but also give us some research. This could also be a useful way to get ideas for questions as we can link it in with our vox pops.

02/10/14:

Today we went on a 'Location Recce' this basically means scouting for places that we could possibly film parts of our documentary. I feel this helped our group to understand and thoroughly think about where we can see our documentary being based and help us decided what we think would look professional and the most appealing. A main worry of mine is that we may use the lecture hall to interview vox pops. I think this may look slightly unnatural and as there are alot of bold colours in the room it may take the attention away from the person being interviewed.
I also created a pilot questionnaire to hand out to a few people in order to see if our questions are understood.

06/10/14:

I handed our questionnaire out to five people who attend college. I collected the data, analysed it and set it our in a pie cart form. Our three questions gave us answers but we could use more detail so now I know to improve and add a few open questions into our real questionnaire.

09/10/14:

Today we evaluted the information and research we had on our blog. Me and Maddie added alot more thorough information to our posts and also added what we thought we needed.

10/10/14:

I created the story board from what we discussed as a group. I tried to remember as much as possible but I feel it needs a lot more detail.

To improve this i will look in detail in which i think will create a professional documentary
